Having read many books and articles on dog training and behavior, I realize that all this time could in fact be saved: by listening to proven techniques and a lot of common sense, we have achieved huge results by making small behavioral adjustments with the interaction between ourselves and our dogs. WE have made all the changes and our dogs have followed. Much to our surprise and pleasure our position in the household has changed and we are now fully in charge of the dogs. Robbie has shown us how to be the 'leader of the pack'. My dogs are happy in knowing that all they'll ever need will be given to them, along with lots of love. We expect nothing from our dogs but we receive unconditional love and loyalty in return. Mitzi, a cross terrier who is 8 years old. Mitzi was extremely territorial and
protective as well as other issues including soiling in the home. Mitzi was
charging the window if anyone passed on the street and assumed control of the door
when friends and family came to visit. She barked incessantly and has twice
bitten the postman. When Robbie came
round for the consultation I was amazed at the immediate impact he had with
Mitzi. Robbie sat in the rear dining
room while his assistant knocked on the door.
Within a few goes Robbie had me controlling Mitzi, she no longer charged
the door and remained sat in the dining room whilst I attended the door
myself. Before Robbie came to
see us we were at the end of our tether with Mitzi as she had started to toilet
on my bed which I found unhygienic, I had to buy new pillows and quilts on more
than one occasion and if it was to continue I would have to give her up. Since the
consultation and the advice given we have assumed the Alpha role. Mitzi is now
a follower and we the leaders and not vice versa. The transformation is
astounding and Mitzi has ceased to use the bed for toileting. She no longer
goes on the bed as I have installed structure and set boundaries. Robbie advises you on
dog behavior and works with the dog - his approach has helped me to become a
better dog owner and to project the correct energy. I have been amazed and delighted with the
results. From being at our wits end and considering giving up on Mitzi, we now
have a happier more balanced dog. I no
longer get stressed with her, visitors come and go without response from Mitzi
and our home is a more peaceful and happier place. A big Thank you
